Most memorable travel experience: Being an extra in a Hollywood movie while travelling in Israel.
Hobbies and interests: Reading, cryptic crosswords, walking and enjoying good food and fine wine with friends.
Favourite thing to do while on holiday: Meeting the locals and experiencing local culture.

On my travel 'bucket list': A river cruise from Budapest to Amsterdam.
Most memorable travel experience: On safari in Botswana we were travelling in two open safari trucks and spotted a lion and lioness. Our guide stopped the truck and radioed to the other truck to come back to see the lions. They swung in front of us and the male lion turned around and started to charge one of the trucks, but slipped on the loose dirt and ended up right next to the other truck with its paws almost level with the passengers - one of whom was my daughter so it was a very scary moment! Someone else then tried to scare the lion away by hitting it with her handbag… fortunately the lion took off before her brand new designer handbag was ruined!
Hobbies and interests: Swimming, walking, wining and dining, travelling and relaxing.
Favourite thing to do while on holiday: Cruising.

Most memorable travel experience: Suffering from altitude, stumbling on a steep mountainside, then finally breaking through forest thick with ferns into a troop of gorillas napping peacefully on the forest floor and watching while the babies swinging above us in the trees!
Hobbies and interests: Hiking and river rafting.
Favourite thing to do while on holiday: Seeing wildlife in their natural environs.

Most memorable travel experience: In Peru, climbing Huayna Picchu early in the morning and then standing on the granite boulders on top looking down onto brightly-coloured hang gliders soaring on the thermals above the Machu Picchu ruins.
Hobbies and interests: Bush walking, reading, golf, gardening, watching AFL and travelling.
Favourite thing to do while on holiday: Exploring and getting lost in back streets of foreign towns and cities and finding unique shops, bars and restaurants – and eating local cuisine with locals.
